On Friday afternoon - the turf was transformed into a basketball court, and according to Andrew Campbell, the Director of Partnership and Events - it took a lot of planning, coordination, attention to detail, and wood. At University Of Phoenix Stadium, Signs Of Ncaa’s Hypocrisy Are Literally All Around
... only one in four Phoenix students are able to repay their loans — speak for themselves. “The high-quality schools in the tournament shouldn’t allow themselves to be associated with a company like Phoenix,” Thompson said. Even though President Obama tried to crack down on for-profit colleges like the University of Phoenix during his two terms in office, and enrollment in these institutions has dramatically decreased , there is no proof that conditions are improving for students. In fact, just recently the University of Phoenix was sold to a private equity company. That means that Phoenix is not longer subject to oversight from the SEC, and therefore doesn’t have to disclose information about shares, ongoing investigations, lawsuits, or regulatory hurdles. And, under the administration of President Trump and Education Secretary Betsy De Vos, it’s unlikely there will be much reigning in of for-profit colleges. “The NCAA doesn’t have a lot of ground to stand on in terms of preying on students.”. After last year’s Final Four, Thompson and her colleagues at Generation Progress sent hundreds of letters to NCAA board members ...
Studio Sets On Great Lawn Offer Stunning Backdrops
... for shoulder programming on CBS and CBS Sports Network. Using a cantilever, which is a structural element (typically a long beam or girder) typically seen in bridge construction, Filmwerks is able to build a set with completely clear sight lines on all four ends. The method is providing production crews with gorgeous backdrops of University of Phoenix Stadium for their shoots. Filmwerks’ Stephen Satrazemis helped lead the team that designed and built the two sets on the “Great Lawn.”. “One of the features that our clients love is that the column doesn’t have to be all the way out [in the middle of the stage],” says Stephen Satrazemis, the lead technician on site for Filmwerks. “Using centilevers keeps a nice clean and open shot.”. The sets can be built with glass enclosures (as was done for Fox Sports at Super Bowl 50 and 51) and can be supplemented with shade protectors, but the nice weather in Glendale this weekend has encouraged Turner Sports and CBS Sports to keep the sets open. Filmwerks has also developed a more efficient ballast system. Instead of using heavy elements such as water ...
