Wb Bringing Dc Films To Wondercon; New Justice League Trailer To Debut

... League  coming to theaters. Both of these films have experienced generally positive buzz so far, with the marketing for Justice League only beginning as Wonder Woman‘s is coming to a close. The latter will be out before San Diego Comic-Con 2017, leaving only Justice League ready to deliver on footage for those in attendance. However, with fans wanting more, it could be Wonder Con that brings about new footage – or even announcements. The official Comic-Con website has confirmed that during Warner Bros’ panel on April 1 st, DC will be making an appearance. The description for the panel states that “sneak peeks” at films from WB, New Line, and DC will be shown, which could indicate a new trailer dropping for Justice League. With unannounced “special guests” also scheduled to appear, it’s possible Zack Snyder will ...

... it for a while. Marvel at its ability to convey the idea that it looks like someone cropped an upside-down DC logo before it was finished. Or, as A. V. Club staff illustrator Nick Wanserski points out, perhaps it’s secretly communicating with us, telling those with the eye to really see it that the way to make a decent DC movie is by doing the exact opposite of what’s happening now. Indeed, it has spawned an entire conversation among designers here in the office, wondering what kind of material those letters and their outline are supposed to be made of. Metal? Shiny stone? Truly, this will have us up for many moons to come, pondering its mysteries. Anyway, the new trailer arrives in two days, though why you’d promise something that will obviously be a letdown when compared to the majesty of ...

... the character. But whenever the next one gets off the ground, whether it’s The Batman movie or the Justice League sequel, and I know those things are getting shuffled around right now … we thought we might be getting to work pretty soon on The Batman, but we’ll see what the future brings. Hopefully that’ll be another comic-book character that I get to take two or three or four cracks at.”. Simmons’ casting as the Caped Crusader’s Gotham City ally was announced last year , and he previously told EW he hoped to show a more “badass” side of the character — and a strong one too, as evidenced by that viral photo of the actor putting in some serious work at the gym. “People of my generation remember Commissioner Gordon as this jolly, ineffectual Santa Claus type, and I think over the years in the comics there’s definitely much more of a badass side to him,” he said back in July. “One of the things that’s interesting to me is investigating hopefully a little bit more of that badass [side]…You’re living in a universe where it’s pretty tough to be a badass compared to somebody like Batman, but in the universe of non-superheroes ...

Justice League' And 'batman V Superman' Financier Brett Ratner Doesn't Like Rotten Tomatoes
Justice League' And 'batman V Superman' Financier Brett Ratner Doesn't Like Rotten Tomatoes

... Special, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Keanu, The Conjuring 2, Suicide Squad, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them and the upcoming Wonder Woman, Justice League, Aquaman and The Flash movies. If Rotten Tomatoes wields any influence on box office returns ( it doesn’t seem to ), then it’s easy to see why it’d be a threat to Ratner’s business. And even if it doesn’t actually hurt box office, Ratner is just as fearful of reputational damage. “Now it’s about, ‘What’s your Rotten Tomatoes score?’ And that’s said, because the Rotten Tomatoes score was so low on Batman v Superman I think it put a cloud over a movie that was incredibly successful,” he said. If success is measured only in dollars, Ratner has a point: Batman v Superman hit nearly $900 million in box office. It’s not Star Wars numbers, but it’s still a lot of money. But maybe audiences judge Batman v Superman on metrics other than money. Which did people bring up as a point of criticism more: the RT score or when Batman and Superman stopped fighting when ...

J.k. Simmons Unsure If The Batman Will Be Filmed Before Justice League Sequel

... Reeves in to take his place. The film is reportedly undergoing a full rewrite, so Simmons’ involvement with the film could be altered any which way. Certainly, fans will expect him to be in it. “The Batman” was originally set to begin shooting in the next couple of months, but now seems unlikely to shoot until late 2017/early 2018 with the film not opening until sometime in 2019. Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions. Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot will be reprising their roles as the DC Trinity, Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman in Warner Bros.‘ Justice League, and joining them are Jason Mamoa as Aquaman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, and Ezra ...

15 Times The Justice League Lost
15 Times The Justice League Lost

... manages to escape at the very last moment! We next see Lord in “The New 52” overseeing Cadmus. Nice work Justice League. Real nice. 13. JOKER NUKES METROPOLIS. “Injustice – Gods Among Us,” the comic and video game franchise, is one long saga of failure after failure for the Justice League. From the get-go, the league is divided, spending most of the series’ four years fighting and killing each other, with most of the killing being done by Superman and his cronies. The conflict begins in issue #1 when Joker, tired of his endless games with Batman (neither party is willing to deal the killing blow), sets his sights on Superman. Joker kidnaps Lois, attaches a detonator to her heart in some bizarre surgery (who knew he was a gifted surgeon?) and then fools Superman into believing that she’s Doomsday. ...

Justice League #17 Review
Justice League #17 Review

... being done to it. Still a better read…. Last issue brought us perhaps the most encouraging installment of Justice League: after struggling to find his voice apart from his pencils, writer Bryan Hitch at last delivered a readable story— one I actually found enjoyable. The characters left me wanting, but overall, I liked the dialogue-driven approach far better than what we’ve seen previously. This time, Hitch continues with a similar emphasis, and I’m grateful. Whatever else you may say about the story and characterization, Justice League #17 reads well. I also like what we learn of Tempus, “the Timeless mind.” His intentions don’t quite make the Timeless sympathetic, but they do add some much-needed dimension to what has heretofore seemed like yet another uninteresting swarm of baddies. Tempus has a few things to say about the League, as well—things which I suspect carry significance that stretches beyond Justice League ...

Is The Next Justice League Trailer On The Way
Is The Next Justice League Trailer On The Way

... While that doesn't specify which DC film will be highlighted, it does guarantee that footage from the DCEU will be seen. Does this mean a new trailer for Justice League is on the way. In the past, studios have used the convention panels to debut new trailers, so it makes sense for WB to take this route. Fans have been begging for a new JL trailer, and the folks at DC have been saying one is on the way. Both Zack Snyder and Gal Gadot have claimed that new footage will arrive soon, and Wonder Con is most definitely that. As the calendar rolls into April, be on the lookout for all things Justice League. With Wonder Woman around the corner, that film could be getting another trailer as well. In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder ...
