The location of their wedding was of particular significance to the couple as it was where they got engaged back in 2016. The event was planned by Beth Helmstetter Events, who followed the brides' wishes to have a colourful and confetti themed big day. Samira and Lauren were also keen for their wedding to be non-traditional, fun and inspired by Funfetti cake. The pair walked down the aisle to Justin Bieber's 'Baby' whilst 'This Is How We Do It' was also played at the lavish wedding. The outdoor ceremony had a personal touch, too, as it was officiated by Samira's parents.
