Spider Man Homecoming

Homecoming Trailer Released

... darker than the first, which highlighted more of the Spider-Man humor and style than the actual plot. This trailer takes it in the other direction, giving viewers a much better sense of the goals for the villainous Vulture (Michael Keaton) and the personal conflict that arises between Spider-Man (Tom Holland) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.). As described by Keaton himself, along with the producer and director of Spider-Man: Homecoming previously, Adrian Toomes is a blue collar worker who runs a salvage company ( possibly Damage Control ?) that cleans up after major superhero battles. After the events of Captain America: Civil War, a government organization led by white-collar superhero Tony Stark pushes Toomes' company out, so Toomes becomes the Vulture. Along with his partners, Shocker and the Tinkerer, he begins using the technology his company salvaged to build powerful weapons to sell to criminals. It seems that Spider-Man has his eyes set on becoming an Avenger. However, having lived that life for years, Iron Man cautions him against it and instead ...

Deadpool Co-creators Debate Venom Movie's Spider-man Connection
Deadpool Co-creators Debate Venom Movie's Spider-man Connection

... Universe, like Tom Holland's Spider-Man is. Every since fans have learned that Venom may be doing its own thing, without a big presence from Spider-Man, there's been rounds of debate about whether that approach is truly viable - or simply the next film in the Spider-Man franchise to miss the mark. Well it seems that debate isn't just being held in the realm of fandom; some Marvel Comics creative icons are also having a hard time agreeing on whether or not Venom can carry a film without his web-slinging nemesis. That was Twitter exchange between  Deadpool  co-creators Rob Liefeld and Fabian Nicieza. Liefeld is known for being very outspoken with his opinions regarding superhero movies - and it's funny to see Nicieza challenge him like this. The two pretty much embody the two sides fo the argument currently being held in the fanspace: is Venom and interesting enough character to carry a film by himself. While Venom is definitely an interesting character, it should be remembered ...

... Officer k. Is he an android? Gosling’s character meeting Ford’s cop says, “I got some questions to ask you.”. After the clip played, Rothman, the second-highest ranking Sony exec in the U. S. repeated that Blade Runner 2049 was “cool as shit.”. The session kicked off with the first six minutes of Sony’s SXSW critical fave Baby Driver with director Edgar Wright, and stars Jon Hamm and Ansel Elgort in tow; and it ended with Greenstein introducing  Jumanji : Welcome to the Jungle star Dwayne Johnson.  The action star then introduced castmembers Nick Jonas, Jack Black and Karen Gillian. Black promptly sang his own satirical version of what the movie’s title anthem would be. Black exclaimed that Leonardo Di Caprio went through nothing on Revenant compared to the humidity and mosquitoes that the Jumanji cast dealt with in Hawaii. “We had centipedes nipping at the sack, deal with that Di Cap!” quipped Black. ...

Tony Stark And Michael Keaton’s Vulture School Peter Parker
Tony Stark And Michael Keaton’s Vulture School Peter Parker

... Peter Parker is so eager to join the Marvel big boys in Stark Tower that he even watches Avengers videos on his laptop (we glimpse him watching an old-school “Captain America’s Fitness Challenge”). “Can’t you be just a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man?” Stark replies when Peter eagerly asks how he can become an Avenger. Stark also advises: “Just stay close to the ground” in Queens before trying to save the world. (Never mind that Stark himself drafted Peter into a huge Avengers melee in Europe in “Captain America: Civil War.”). But then Michael Keaton’s Adrian Toomes — a.k.a. the Vulture — drops in to declare: “The rich and the powerful, like Stark, they don’t care about us!”. The Vulture is using his robotic winged suit to terrorize New York, with Bokeem Woodbine’s Herman Schultz/Shocker by his side. Spider-Man soon tries ...

Spotlight's On Iron Man, Vulture And Recreating Iconic Train Scene

... more of the fast talking, faster-moving Spidey played by Tom Holland, who we'd gotten an all-too-brief-but-none-the-less-pleasing glimpse of in Captain America: Civil War. We saw Holland's Peter Parker navigate the travails of high school, the somewhat confusing mentoring by Iron Man aka Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) and the scary shenanigans of the newest villain in town, The Vulture (played by Michael Keaton). And now, as Spider-Man: Homecoming hurtles towards its 7 July 2017 release date, fans finally have another new trailer to look forward to. But before that — a teaser. The super-tiny teaser has Spidey clinging to a vertiginous-ly high wall, while a tiny, bug drone — the newest addition to his spider-suit — climbs out of his chest. It seems the emblem on the spidey-suit converts into this handy little drone when our web-slinging superhero needs it the most. This fancy gizmo is also courtesy Tony ...
