The Cw’s Got 100 Problems, But A Premiere Ain’t One
... repeat history and all that jazz. Vikings (a show now either about vikings from the past or future vikings) ends its fourth season tonight with “The Reckoning.” Oh yes, these vikings mean business. “Prince Aethelwulf is targeted by the Vikings’ battle plan, while Ecbert stays behind formulating his own plan.” After last week’s penultimate episode , Dennis Perkins hopes this finale sticks the landing. Or there will be another type of reckoning…. The Expanse (Syfy, 10 p.m.): Finally, The Expanse has come back to television. And it’s back with a two episode second season premiere, so don’t say it never gave you anything. In this premiere: “Miller, Holden, and the crew of the Roci deal with the aftermath of their narrow escape from Eros. We meet Martian Marine Gunnery Sergeant Bobbie Draper (Frankie Adams) and her platoon when the ‘Cuban Missile Crisis’ between Earth and Mars heats up.” That’s right, The Expanse is getting right into it, with “into it” meaning a whole lot of Mars mess. By the way, this premiere is a 95-minute presentation with “limited commercials,” so we’ll just compensate with this You Tube clip for a Syfy original ...
Zach Mcgowan Makes Art Out Of Getting Punched In The Face
... to do that on the plane out to South Africa, but I didn’t even pitch that to anyone,” he explains. “I just did it, and nobody told me to stop. My approach to acting is that it consumes my mind. I can’t think of anything else when I’m involved in a scene. You’ve got to do what’s asked, but on top of it, it’s that inclination of just doing what I feel is right for the moment.”. He adds that it does make a difference, however, as he’s progressed from guest star to a regular — as he was on Black Sails and currently is on The 100. “When you’re guest starring, you’re basically just trying not to get in anyone’s way. You’re like, ‘All right. I’m here. I don’t want to piss anyone off.’ As things progress, you’re like, ‘Oh, people actually want to hear my opinion. This is great.’”. Zach Mc Gowan as King Roan in 'The 100'. Much of King Roan stems from Mc Gowan’s desire to play a cowboy. “Roan is my cowboy. It’s that archetypal person who has been outcast from society. I love the aspect of entertainment that can take you away from where you are. I grew up in New ...
Stoke’s Peter Crouch Joins The 100 Club But Everton Take Share Of Spoils
... club but Everton take share of spoils. Stoke City’s Peter Crouch reprises his robot celebration after scoring his 100 th Premier League goal. Photograph: Darren Staples/Reuters. Wednesday 1 February 2017 22.01 GMT. Last modified on Thursday 2 February 2017 00.50 GMT. Stoke City gave a maiden outing to their exciting new striker Saido Berahino but centre stage belonged to distinguished veterans, as Peter Crouch struck a landmark goal before Everton equalised via an unfortunate deflection off Ryan Shawcross. It was an unsatisfying result for the hosts but there was much to admire from Mark Hughes’s men, not least Crouch’s goal after seven minutes, which brought up a Premier League century for the former England striker. The previous goal scored on this ground had been Wayne Rooney’s record-breaking one for Manchester United in the 1-1 ...
The Difference Between Fake 'earth' And 'space' Languages
... that we speak here on earth. It’s not totally regular, it’s not very simple, everything doesn’t line up one to one with some other language. It has its own unique character, its own irregularities, its own quirks. The Munja'kin language in Emerald City. What do you mean by a language you’d find on Earth. The witch language itself is not something like you would find on earth. Our languages evolve gradually over time, because you have a bunch of people who speak a language. Their children are born and they learn the language, but they change it incrementally, just little bits, so that the language of a child is not going to be exactly the same as the parents. With the witch language, a part of the fictional conceit of the show is that witches are simply born being able to speak and understand this language, which means that they don’t learn it at the knee of anybody, they’re not listening to it, and they don’t teach it to anybody, it doesn’t evolve. It’s not a naturalistic language. That was a very different task from what I’m used to. Different than Doctor Strange, even. I guess you could say it’s a little bit more similar to what I did ...
The 100’ Cast Tease Season 4's Political Turmoil, Octavia’s Transformation, And More
... “When you’re allowed to stick with your traditions, you can kind of relax in it, in a way. It’s like, this is the hierarchy, this is who we follow, and as a career warrior, this is what I do. Then, everything gets thrown in our faces because of our commander not being there anymore, and how we traditionally find and believe a new commander will come is being thrown into question. There are folks who want to stick with what we know, and then there are folks who want to trust having to deal with the new circumstances that are coming. We’re breaking up into new camps now. It used to be, I could trust you or not trust you by the costume that you wore. You were on that clan. Now, because everything’s kind of being thrown up into the air, I’ve got to trust you because of the deeds you are doing, not just who you happen to be. It’s kind of like new clans are being created within the ...

Is Murphy The Ally We Really Need
... according to the actor. "I think, honestly, we'll probably see a little more of that turmoil," Harmon promised. "Should I be doing the right thing because I know it's the right thing, or should I be looking out for myself? Or, more importantly, should I be looking after Emori?". The outcast Arker isn't changing his ways so much as his peers are finally starting to realize his true nature. Murphy may balk at authority at every turn - we wouldn't expect anything less - but he has the begrudging respect of The 100's two key players. "I think we found a newfound respect for one another," Harmon said of Murphy and Clarke. "And Murphy and Bellamy. I think that's the other characters understanding him a little bit better and thinking, 'Maybe we had this guy wrong.' I don't blame them for having him wrong. He did what he did and ...
The 100’ Premiere Recap
... researching ALIE’s claims, but Clarke says she knows it to be true. And she has a plan: surrender. Jaha takes a shrouded body up to Echo in the commander’s chambers (I guess the elevator is working again?). He says that Ontari should be with her people; they thank him by beating him up. While he’s there, an Azgeda soldier tells her that Skaikru is surrendering. Echo takes Jaha with her down to meet Kane and Indra — she sends him across the line to tell them she’ll only talk to Bellamy. He whispers, “It worked,” to Kane. It was all a ruse. Inside the commander’s chambers, Octavia cuts herself out of the shroud and kills the guards inside. She lets Abby and Clarke in the room so they can save Roan. Only in this world would you have to go through such an elaborate stunt to save someone’s life. But anyway, while Bellamy talks a surrender deal with Echo, ...
How Do You Deal With The World Ending
... whole entire season is the individual characters and what they’re going to do, how they’re going to respond, knowing that the apocalypse is coming. Will they fight? Will some of them submit and want to enjoy their last couple months on earth and have a good time? Or are they going to fight? Speaking for Murphy, he’s been on death’s doorstep so many times before. I’m not sure things are going to change for him now as far as being a fighter. He’s never had a whole lot to live for but that never stopped him from living. I don’t think that’s going to change now. You’re going to see Murphy fight with all of his might to survive and not only him, but the person he loves, Emori.”. In the past, Harmon noted Murphy, “Never had something to fight for before but he did anyway because he does not want to die. He’s not going to go down like that. And I just hope he’s not going to die this way either!”. For the Grounders, Zack Mc Gowan (“Roan”) noted that trust factors in, saying Roan’s people wonder, “Do we take their word for it that it’s coming, or do we not? Do we believe in it? We know what happened last ...
